All right, ya bunch of greasers, wrench monkeys and dime store hoods,

Welcome to the Moai Motorcade! Here's your space to talk about cars, automobiles, hotrods, '57 Chevys, pink Cadillacs, little deuce coupes, and pomade.

Enjoy.

Thanks,

CK :fez:

Pop here, along with his old car, I mean "our" old car.

I'll put some of the build pics up when I sort them out. This might be a fun spot.
A little grease and oil, a little cut and weld.
Some folks get bitten by it and some folks don't.
I got a real bad bite when I was very young and it was almost terminal.

Just wanted to compliment you guys on your rides! I have a couple that I will post as well. Thanks for having me! Here is what I am currently playing with.

1949 Mercury that sat unmolested in a garage in Lodi, New Jersey for over thirty years until we pulled it out. The chop was done in the mid 60's in North Platte, Nebraska. I have actually spoken with the gentleman who had the roof chopped. He still lives in North Platte, and he is in his late 70's. His dad traded two dairy cows for the car in 1966. The last picture was taken in the early 70's, when the car was finished the first time around.

Next is my 59 Ford 2 door Ranch Wagon. This one should be up and running within the next 30 days, although I have said that before. I'd like to be driving this to the Hot Rod Hula Hop. The last picture is what the interior will look like.

Hello,

My 16 year old son bought a 1984 El Camino Choo Choo SS last year. It is in good shape - looks good and runs good but can be better. Any advice or info is greatly appreciated.

Are Tourists allowed here? Also is there a Moai Motorcycle Contingent? (I'm thinking what an awesome club jacket that would be...)

I'm a rider and a a hot rodder. Past rides were a 65 Falcon 4 door, a 61 Falcon 2 door (that I'd kill to have back) and a 46 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Currently my four wheels are down to my daily driver 2015 Wrangler and a 27 Model T Touring body and a set of Model A frame rails for it to sit on eventually... but that's a ways off.

My two wheel collection consists of my main ride a 2007 Triumph America, a 78 Yamaha DT250E and a 1959 AJS Model 31 cafe racer project.

Love looking at all your rides...
