Aloha everyone!

To answer chiwito's question: I am currently enjoying some Thomas Tew single barrel pot still rum that I got while I was in Newport, RI. I also just bought a bottle of Hamilton 151 after I realized I was being far too conservative with my last bottle of old label Lemon Hart 151 when I make Zombies.

Aloha & welcome, Cannibal Ed! What other tiki endeavors do you enjoy in addition to consuming zombies? And Cannibal consumes zombie sounds like the making of a classic B-movie to me!

Aloha kai ahe! I enjoy writing, recording, and listening to music. I don't really stick to any one genre... I like exotica, surf, psych, world (turkish/middle eastern/indian/slack key), electronic soundtracky stuff, etc... I love traveling, and do so every opportunity I have. Going back to Hawaii this winter. Full disclosure - I found out about this site in Martin Cate's book. I've always been into tiki drinks and culture, but I've gone to a new level this summer.

Lots of travel opportunities with all the fun FOM events--with tiki and music and rum--good deeds too!

Aloha, Cannibal Ed!

Somehow I missed your Aloha/introduction thread last summer, but better late than never. Cool to meet you after the Martin Cate seminar last week along with your friend Mike (still working on the names!). From our conversation, it's clear you enjoy rum and travel. What are some of your favorite rums and what are some of the Tiki bars you've been to in your travels?
