Aloha everyone! My husband and I will be attending our first CATT this year and I'm trying to pack. kemika_popoki gave me some tips the other night so I'm adding tights and cardigans to the bag. Do you have any other advice on what to pack so I can still be tiki stylin' in the cooler temps?

P.S. I'm crazy excited! Can't wait to see everyone there!
P.P.S Any advice for the husband would also be appreciated.

This isn't attire, but I suggest an empty shopping bag. You will acquire stuff. You will need someplace to put it!

I tend to carry tiny purses so that is wonderfully helpful. Thank you!

I know nothing about purses, and my advice is more about how to run the race....remember it's a marathon not a sprint! I've been to every one of them so I've experienced most every situation. I've gone all out right from the gate and crashed before lunch. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! You'll get bus snacks use them. But most importantly....have fun! We're on island time....meet new people and spread the Aloha with your new Ohana!

In my giant purse, I normally carry, I keep 2 of these foldable shopping bags (https://www.amazon.com/Foldable-Reusabl ... B077N47LJH). You'd be surprised how handy they are, because sometimes you do need an extra shopping bag. I actually bought something similar when I visited Japan, as someone told me, that if you shop at stores, they don't give you bags. That wasn't the case for Tokyo at least. But I ended up with these folding grocery bags, and they're available in all sorts of fun prints, and readily fit into small purses or a man's pants pocket, because heaven forbid women's clothing comes with sizeable pockets.

I just checked the weather forecast...so far highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 40s aka winter temperatures in the South. Hopefully, if the forecast does change, as it is Spring in the Midwest, it will mean higher temperatures and no snow. But given how crazy the weather has been this year, who knows. I seriously saw snow during my Atlanta commute this morning. It melted right away but it was snow.

Looks like I'm bringing one of my big purses this time. My husband says I have too many... he's wrong! Pretty sure I have some perfect for this.

I really hope it stays like that (or goes up a bit). I can handle those temps.

Be sure to be prepared with some extra cash. There will be raffle tickets available Friday night and throughout the day Saturday. You need cash to buy them so you can win fantastic prizes...and it's for the kids!

It's not a bad idea to pack a water bottle. As mentioned before hydration is important on the Saturday marathon.

It's my first CATT too! I'm so excited! I bought some fleece lined tights I will be wearing under my dress in hopes they will keep me toasty enough! I love the suggestions above, I would of never thought to pack a shopping/tote bag!
