Does anyone here use Ooga Mooga to catalog, showcase their tiki mug collections? I just started my membership. I'm hoping to meet more like minded tiki lovers and buy/trade/sell some mugs.

I know that a few people in here, including myself use it. Haven't done much trading or selling yet.

mostly just use it for show-n-tell. :D

We use it. Not to show off, but to keep track of the collection.

That was my original intention, mostly to catalog my collection. How many mugs do you have and what are your favorites?

I’ve been neglecting to log stuff in lately, but I try to use it to keep track of my collection.

I use it to keep track but BADLY need to update my collection. I have even done a few trades and purchases. I find it worth it to remember what I have so that if I am out in the wild and come across something I can fairly quickly find out if I have it or not or if I do what I paid for it in the past.

Someone told me long ago an undocumented collection is just hoarding. Thank goodness for Ooga Mooga

Still a lot of vintage ware out there left to be discovered. I geek out over being able to document forgotten junk. I love the hunt.

My family says I'm a hoarder, but I like to think of myself as a collector of rare antiquities. Call me sentimental.

Critiki is NOT currently getting updates, and may not for some time. Humu Humu said she's dealing with some difficult family issues which are keeping her away from the websites.

I'm probably overcommitted as it is, but would be happy to lend a hand. I still shoo people towards those resources a lot.

Ahhh well hope everything works out for her and her family. That stuff can be rough. Thanks for the heads up

Hi all!

As some of you may know ooga-mooga has been offline for some time.

Through a lot of hard work (and rum) I've indexed the old content from google cache and the wayback machine and rebuilt the catalog.

Most importantly I've managed to save the majority of user collections. If you had a collection on ooga-mooga you can search for it, claim it and then export / download all your information.

* Here's the site: https://mytiki.life/
* Search for your collector account here: https://mytiki.life/collectors
* Join our facebook group for updates here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2632128390397639/

Cheers Leevi

You are my hero and a prince among men. I cannot thank you enough for the work you did you make this happen!

I'm pretty sure I owe you a lot of drinks.

Yay you answered !!!!

You're collector account was pretty close to the top of the list and I've been trying to reach out to everyone for a few weeks.

If you know anyone else on "the list" can you please let them know as well: https://mytiki.life/collectors/unclaimed

Wow, impressive! I think this deserves its own thread here! And muchos Mahalos for creating a new resource!
