Aloha, I am a Houston Tikiphile and have been for some time. I love tiki culture and it’s history. I went to my first Ohana in 2017 and it was a great time! I was Cousin Eddie at the kickoff party that year. This year we are returning to Ohana! I can’t wait to again see the Tiki Resort and again see those great paintings in the hallway by Lewis VanDercar along with everyone’s smiling faces. I have been lucky enough to meet some of you at Ohana of course as well as at the great Moai Icehouse in Austin or attending Meat Church services. (It’s a Texas thing ya’ll. ). Of course locally we are regulars at Lei Low when not making cocktails at our home bar. All the Moai I have met have been great people and it’s finally time to get to know you better. I have a really cool custom mug though that Eekum Bookum did for a local home bar that my friend at Aloha Texas Tiki company designed with a really cool PNG style that I really like. As far as wish lists I have always wanted one of those Steve Crane bird bowls perhaps just for the oddness of it and of course anything from the Kahiki. I did recently get my first Mug No 1.
