Hi all, new poster here, having just found out about this group a few days ago. Partly related to being quarantined. For the last 2 months since lockdown began I have been making nightly cocktail videos to post on Facebook (Quarantinis, I call them, though I am sure many others have called them that as well)

As a part of this journey, I have been reading more on rum and tiki culture and drinks. Which led me here. I think I would like to works towards membership.

But I am also curious, how has everyone been coping with being quarantined for the last few months?

Welcome,

Now that warm weather is here and some backyard tiki torches can be lit the luau in place will be nicer.

Running out of some stuff in the bar though.

Welcome aboard, cantinman!

We were blessed - able to work remotely, well stocked from hurricane habits to begin with, local supply chains adapted fairly quickly, and in possession of a strategic stockpile of spirits.

Hope all is well with you and yours!

We were lucky enough to shut everything down quite early and go remote (my wife works for a company that specializes in risk assessment- so they locked down several weeks before everything else)-

so we've been in lockdown mode for nearly 13 weeks.

It can get a little stressful, especially for the kiddo who wants to be out hanging with friends. We're trying to do theme days here and there with food/cocktails/movie that all work together. And I've been spending a lot of time
working on the bar.

And cocktails. Definitely cocktails.
