Good article, thanks.
Sadly, I ran out of Kohala a year ago, finding a suitable replacement has been difficult.

I try though, I try... :drunk:

I'm not quite sure how this article draws a link between "deep Jamaican funk" and ANYTHING Plantation has to offer (other than OFTD) as their Xayamaca, heralded as it is as a hogo-forward pot-still expression,
is about as bland a Jamaican Rum as I've ever tasted. There's no hogo to go-to.

That said, Hamilton's JPS Black and Gold are both lovely and mainstays in my bar, as is their Guyana 151, and Smith & Cross.

I'm steering clear of OFTD until Ferrand stops trying to monkey-wrench the Jamaican GI and stops preventing Barbados from finalizing their GI.

Ferrand will never get another penny from me until they stop their shenanigans.

For those who don't know what I'm referencing-

This thread has grown too much poly-ticks (and swearing) for a faux Polynesian tiki escape.

While I don't see ever pardoning the damn British for what they did to Col. Ledyard, nor the Penimites for Wyoming, clearly, we shouldn't let it ruin a pleasant cocktail party.

A pox on King George!
