Anyone know history of KI tiki mugs? Did they have a tiki bar? https://photos.app.goo.gl/BCZJLASK7L9KUfQ18

Tiki Central is down and has been for months. If you go to Critiki, it directs you to a “tiki room” site. I immediately received a warning that there was malware present.

Ooga Mooga, as part of Tiki Central, was closed also. Leevigraham migrated a lot of the site here: https://mytiki.life/

The Ooga Mooga discussion can be found in this thread, near the end:http://fraternalorderofmoai.org/huimalu/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=22571&hilit=Ooga+mooga

Sorry, I was referring to the Critiki redirect to the replacement for Tiki Central (“Tikiroom”).
I was searching for Tiki Central, or its replacement, and was directed to the link in Critiki. When I followed the link to an external site, that is where I was warned of malware.

The Critiki site appears to work fine.

Not sure - I have not seen these before. I have some KI S&P shakers that are vintage, though not tiki. Curious myself on how these mugs tied in with King's Island...

I posted pics of the mugs on a Kings Island Forums and have received some replies. Apparently the Crown script logo was only used the first year the park was open. They changed the logo immediately to one that was easier to read. If you have a souvenir with the script logo it is most likely 1972 or 1973.

I've never seen any of these Kings Island mugs either, Dan. You would think given where we live that we would have seen more of these at garage sales and thrift stores over the years.

Any word on them actually having a tiki bar onsite?

I have a couple mugs and s&p shakers. I've looked at the old park maps and cant figure
out which "land" they would fit in with. Maybe just one of the shops on International Street.
