My wife and I will be in Lake George for a weekend getaway soon. We've been there several times, but would like recommendations of your favorite places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in the area. Plus, ideas for things to do and see.

Mahalo!

Have fun! It'll be off-season, so it should be a safe trip.

Sorry to hikack, but somehow this hasn't been posted yet?

Lots of good mini-golf in the area - try Pirate's Cove https://www.piratescove.net/locations/n ... ke-george/

(I really like HillBilly Mini Golf, but it is closed for the season.)

Eat at the A & W https://www.facebook.com/LakeGeorgeAW/ (burgers, including veggie, and ice cream), also the little diner across the street https://www.facebook.com/TheProspectMountainDiner/

Have fun!

We like breakfast at Biscotti Brothers.

If you like old school steakhouse, the Log Jam is great!

A big second on the Log Jam - great salad bar and old school ball of cheese and crackers in the lounge!

Hopefully they will be open

Have fun on your trip. I second A & W and the diner across the street has good omlettes.

Whenever I'm in the area, I go to the Adirondack Pub & Brewery and order a Peanut Butter Porter. It's the greatest beer I've ever had. Tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

And if you have time (and are Star Trek fans), the Star Trek museum in Ticonderoga (really!) is a must!
