I'm pretty sure I heard some one say the bacon was ready. I'm not wearing my hearings aids at the moment but I'm not so deaf that I can't hear when someone says the Bacon is ready.

8 common methods of cooking bacon tested and reported

And if you are in a hurry to get to the bacon before I do, the 'winner' is to lay it out on parchment paper and cook it in the oven.

And I will say the parchment paper method of cooking is awesome, even more so when you rub the bacon with some brown sugar and a pinch of cayenne first.

And for the more brave among you..... bacon dipped in dark chocolate.

I too like the oven/parchment paper solution. It is handy as it saves burners on the stove for eggs and hashbrowns to be cooking while the bacon bakes in the oven. Iron skillet would be my favorite as it gives really good browning/crust but is a little more mess and I like to do my potatoes in it! Really though, with bacon you just can't go wrong.
