I'll jump on this bandwagon!

These are just back from the kiln.

First is a vintage looking retro style boomerang ashtray. I bought the unfinished greenware from a ceramics shop and gave it this cool speckled aqua blue glaze.

I'd have to calculate it to where you live, but I'm guessing from $5. to $8.

Don,

At this point in your ceramic career maybe it would benefit you in the long run to have a logo on the bottom of each mug.
You could also offer custom mugs to fraternities, corporate events, bars, restaurants, etc.

I agree and I've been looking for an easy way to do that, like maybe a rubber stamp.

I don't think I could offer large quantities to anybody. It takes me too long to make these things, and I don't have my own kiln. Now, if I could farm them out to some company to produce them, maybe. I'll have to look into that. Then it would have to be my designs that were special. It wouldn't be me doing the work. Things like the skulls and the handled tiki mug aren't my design. The only things I have designed are the Smiling Moai, and few bowls. I'd like to talk with people like Squid who do this as a business, and get their input.

I'm getting a lot of orders for the latest mug, but I still have these items that I haven't sold yet. If anyone here wants either of these things, please let me know before I put them on eBay.

First is a vintage looking retro style boomerang ashtray. I bought the unfinished greenware from a ceramics shop and gave it this cool speckled aqua blue glaze.

A set of Skull Mugs (note, these pictured have been sold, but I have two more that I think turned out a bit nicer, I just don't have a picture of them):

$25. (plus shipping)

I also still have this

I think the glaze on this one is really nice, but it just isn't selling. What? it's too big for a Mai Tai?
$15. plus shipping.

No takers yet. Anyone interested? Am I asking too much money?
I'm going to put them on eBay if I get no response here.

Also, a friend of mine, who isn't a big tiki fan, just returned a smiling moai mug that I had given her as a gift. It is number 33, and it has a dark gray stone texture glaze that is no longer available. It looks like this one with a blue fez:

If you're interested, please let me know.

Thanks!

Don, your prices are very fair. Can't quibble with that.

PM sent about Mr. Smiley.

Great work. My glazes come out like that too (speckled I mean) only it's not intentional.

I can personally attest to the awesomenosity of these mugs. By the way I hear for everyone that gets sold an angel gets it's wings.

For every one that gets sold, a utility company gets it's bill paid (almost).
