Aloha!

I enjoy long walks on the beach...kidding, well I live in California and recently attended Tiki Oasis with my wife and son. I'm into vintage campers, as we frequently travel in our 68 Aristocrat. My son and I have mini bikes which we use to cruise our neighborhood, mine is a 60's Roper that's I've restored- tons of fun! I am excited to get to know some of you.

Aloha and welcome Tikijose!

It's always nice to see new folks find our little island and come ashore to meet the natives - make yourself at home, the bar should be open any minute now!

Aloha! I have a little vintage camper too. Mine's a '58 Shasta Airflyte and instead of fully restoring it, I decided to go with my soul - tropical. Once we have the aluminum shell repaired, we will cover the damaged birch ceiling with grasscloth. I also am replacing the non-original and hideous countertop with 1/2 of a yellow cracked ice table formica that we have. The other half of the cracked ice table will become, well, the table. We'll be adding bamboo, carved tikis, and an assortment of other items I've gathered. I can't wait until she's done!

It sounds great! I would love to see some pics of it. Have you had it long? Taken it on any long trips? We took ours to Yellowstone last year from Southern California.

Here is the link to my Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/jose.gonzalez.37604 I have pics of our trailer there and I will post some here if I can figure out how to do that. I seem to be blog challenged.

Aloha, and welcome to our shores!

Tiki, vintage trailers, and motorcycles are pretty much the trifecta around here.

Aloha!

Too bad we didn't meet on this site beforehand, as my husband and I were at Tiki Oasis this year too. We could have met in person!

Here are a couple shots from our trip last year. You can she that she needs some work. Haha...there's always so much work to do.

She's been on many a trip as my Dad took her from OR to SoCal and AZ a bunch of times. We drove her back from OR to NC so that's probably her longest trip.
