Hello everyone,

I joined the forum a few days ago and wanted to stop lurking. I'm Local to Atlanta, Ga and found out about the FOM a few months back through a Facebook event that was being held at Trader Vic's. At the event I got to meet some nice people who were very energetic, and if the rest of the Order is anything like what I saw that night then I'm looking forward to eventually trying to become a member.

This place is neat, and I kind of feel it's what's been missing in my life.

Aloha from Atlanta!

Aloha Satinka!

Create a post in the forum and share some details about yourself! Hope to see you at one of the Atlanta events.

Aloha. I’m from Austin, Texas. I saw on Facebook that there are some Moai in town! I’m a tiki aficionado, and I try to visit tiki bars wherever I visit. So far my favorite tiki bar is Porcos in Cleveland. I look forward to meeting y’all!

I'm a new tourist and everything I am reading here about FOM sounds wonderful. I live in the Tiki rich area of Orange County, CA, and while we have lots of events and bars attended by lots of people, I often feel disconnected from my local tikiphiles. I wish we had a chapter out here to meet in person and connect with each other and our love of tiki on an individual level. It would be so fun to meet up after one of the events and discuss the symposium we just attended, try out new recipes with each other at our home bars (or home bar in progress as mine is), or show each our latest acquisition. I hope I can meet some of you at the other events that happen across the US, it would be fun to get to know you better.

Aloha, I have been interested in becoming involved for a few years now. We love tiki and sense of family at Ohana luau by the lake. Love our time there. We/I live in the Albany NY area and swizzle sticks are taking over our living room!! Let me know what the next steps are. Also, I dropped off a bottle of Love My Goat at Ohana as an offering to the appropriate Tiki Gods (Board). I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank You
Swentiki

Aloha! I had a blast at Ohana this year and I think this is really something I'd like to get more involved with down the road. I'm in Rochester, NY so there's nothing Tiki-related around me closer than a day or weekend trip. But for now, my friends and I are basking in the spirit and living "aloha" as best we can.

Thanks for putting on a great luau. I hope to learn more about FOM in the future!
