THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE FOR READING!
Wasn't sure where to post, but in the event anyone will take a few minutes to watch this broadcast tonight, I'll reach more of you here in the Port.
A program will run tonight on Channel 10 in Columbus 5:30pm - online at http://www.10tv.com
Our friends' son Justin, was murdered in '07, leaving work (Mgr/Heartland Cash Advance) and was on his way to pick up his baby girl. This was not a drug deal, or a robbery. Nothing was taken. Justin was a hardworking 25 year old, supporting his wife, daughter; loved by his 3 sisters, parents & grandparents. He was shot in the back, multiple times, then an additional 3 times in the head as he lay dying. There were people around. The police had a suspect, but need more information. Someone out there must know something? It's incredible that a murderer could keep it quiet for so long. The Police need our help. Any tips you have can be anonymous. Could you have been nearby, saw something and don't even realize you have a tip? Were you out at a bar one night and possibly heard someone bragging about the murder?
Justin's Mom Micki and his Stepdad Jerry, are good friends of my husband and myself. His Grandma Kathy is one of my Mother in law's best friends. It is frustrating for me from a law enforcement standpoint, because I have all these police officers and investigators in my family, yet no one is been able to put this scumbag behind bars. We desperately need justice served. Please keep your eyes & ears open...you alone could hold the key to help little Riley be comforted, that the man who took her Daddy away, can never hurt anyone again.
If you can deal with it, here's Justin's blog, written by my friend Micki. Every single day she fights to go on. They interviewed her for this piece and I told her I would try to get my Columbus friends to watch http://www.justindmiller.blogspot.com
For all us parents who can relate, think of how much you'd want to find this creep. I'm sorry to bum anyone out, it's a very sad topic. But it's really important to reach as many people as we can with this story! For Justin's family and friends.
