Team Queequeg not done walking
Aloha and Malaho from the Moai!
MS Walk 2009 was held in Maine last weekend and the Walking Moai of the Queequeg Chapter were in attendance. The weather was beautiful and the team took great pride in offering a gigantic check to a surprised Denise Clavette, president of the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Maine Chapter.

Currently the team is #1 in the standings for money raised and along the route of the walk there was some friendly banter with last year's top team "Happy Hill" which is trailing behind Team Queequeg in the standings but working furiously to retake the #1 spot.
Team captain Jon Bartholomew was full of praise for the team and all the people who donated to the effort to date, "Traci and I want to thank everyone who has supported Team Queequeg so far this year. We have increased our level of support for the Multiple Sclerosis Society since last year which is very important at a time when many non-profits are hurting from reduced donations."
Then Jon reminded the team that there is still some unfinished business, "As a team we have raised over $9,000 but our goal is $10,000 and even though the Walk is over we have until May 31 to reach that goal."
So, the Walking Moai are still walking a little further. Can you help?
