Are You Prepared?

Aloha,

When it comes to the zombie apocalypse the Zombie Suppression Unit over at the F.O.M. Test Labs echos the advice from FEMA: Prepare. Plan. Stay informed.

The crew at the labs gathers information from around the world and sifts it for valuable intelligence and best practices that can be used to improve field operations. So it was exciting news to hear that the University of Florida had published details of their planning for the public to see.

Unfortunately the materials were quickly removed from the university web site after some uninformed media coverage. It is really disappointing to see the public and peer institutions deprived of access to important information like that.

However, the fine folks over at Zombies Are Coming had managed to grab a copy and published it on their site so we found it there. If you help with disaster planning in your community this document is a must read so download a copy today and use it to inform your own planning for zombie attacks and other health emergencies.

Don't be afraid to do detailed planning for your defense and consider testing your plan with rehearsals and table top simulations.

On a related note: Halloween is coming so be sure you are well versed in identifying real zombies and avoid risk of collateral damage to fake zombies during field work.

Keep the torches burning (and your powder dry),
