Roughly translated as "a container of words," Ipu Ki is your official source of news about the Fraternal Order of Moai.
About the F.O.M.
The mission of the Fraternal Order of Moai is to serve as the premier fraternal organization and social network for all men and women interested in tiki culture and the Polynesian pop era. Our core values are: Good Works, Fellowship, Spirit, Presence, Preservation and Celebration.

The Order is an Ohio non-profit corporation and a tax exempt 501(c)(10) Domestic Fraternal Society.

The Order currently has eight chapters: Kahiki (Central Ohio), Kon-Tiki (Southwest Ohio), Red Palms (Illinois), Gumbo Limbo (South Florida), Queequeg (New England), Kokoru (Chesapeake Bay), Kahanui (Denver), and Te Āporo Nui (New York City). Additional chapters are forming.

Ohana Luau at the Lake is no April Fool!

Aloha!

There may be a lot of silly stuff happening online today but one thing that isn't an April Fool is Ohana Luau at the Lake 2010.

We are very excited to announce that Fisherman will be joining us by the pool again this year so get ready for some wild vibraphone antics on Saturday. Along with Fisherman we'll have live performances by WAITIKI, 9th Wave, Bamboo Saxotica, Pablus and all the way from France: Jimmy Virani and his theremin.

Many new vendors are joining us this year so save your pennies and get ready for the Ohana Bazaar where you can buy clothes, carvings, collectibles, and lots of other must-have souvenirs like the custom Ohana 2010 event mug by Squid.
