Sound the conch and light the torches!

We are very excited to announce that the Fraternal Order of Moai is now an Ohio non-profit corporation.

Ok, we know what you're thinking, "first a mission statement and now incorporation? What happened to just having fun? Have the Moai traded in leis and cocktails for meetings and TPS reports?"

Don't worry, we still like having fun... fun with a purpose... and incorporation means that the F.O.M. can now sign contracts, own property, use banks, pretty much anything that furthers our purpose. This will make it easier to plan events and and gather donations for the charities we support.

After the announcement KukuAhu, Tagata A'o of the Order, reminded members that "this is only one step of many" as the Order moves forward.

The Fellowship will gather this summer at our first National Convention to celebrate this news and plan the next steps.
