Thanks To Returning Ohana Sponsors

Aloha!

Part of the reason that there will be an Ohana Luau at the Lake in 2010 is because a number of new sponsors stepped up in 2009 and took a chance on group of people wearing blue fezzes with a crazy idea to have a Fall tiki event in Lake George. They could have said "call us next year" but they didn't.

So this year we are very happy to welcome back these sponsors who will be helping to make the second Luau at the Lake memorable.

DoleFirst, the Dole Food Company.

The world's largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables brings you the second annual Dole Cocktail Contest. We all know that fruits and vegetables are healthy and that must make tiki cocktails the healthiest drinks on the planet. So look for free samples of Dole products during the weekend and see who will produce the best cocktail on Saturday.

Ryan & WoodNext, Ryan & Wood Distilleries.

Last year was the memorable debut of Folly Cove Rum in Lake George (direct from the cask!) and more than a few people beat a path to the distillery in Gloucester, Mass. for a free tour after the weekend was over. Stop by the Ohana Silent Auction tent and bid on the Cape Ann weekend vacation package offered by this generous sponsor. Plus, everyone will go home with a memento of the weekend thanks to Ryan & Wood because they will be providing souvenir glasses during the room crawl.

Also returning, the Royer Corporation.

Makers of custom napkins, swizzles, glassware and more, Royer astounded everyone with a fantastic custom drink swizzle for Ohana 2009 and now they are adorning tiki bars all over the world. This year you can be sure they will have their best work on display in Lake George.

Next up, Frankie's Tiki Room.

The Las Vegas tiki bar everyone is talking about wants you to hear the call and visit them in Sin City. Their 2010 calendar is awesome and we're sure they will send along some fun stuff for attendees at Ohana 2010 too.

Also, Luxe Couture.

Offering a new line of vintage-inspired custom creations out of New York City, Luxe Couture is back again this year and will be vending fabulous dresses at the Ohana Bazaar.

SquidArtAnd last, but not least, SquidArt.

The official mug maker for Ohana Luau at the Lake returns with another fantastic event mug that has everyone talking. Look for a variety of Squid creations in the Ohana Bazaar.

We're excited to have all of these companies joining us for the weekend and helping us to support the Easter Island Foundation.

Stay tuned to Ipu Ki for updates on our veteran sponsors who come to Ohana Luau at the Lake after previously supporting the Northeast Tiki Tour and the Hot Rod Hula Hop.

Keep the torches burning,
