Northeast Tiki Tour Dates Announced
Aloha,
Planning for the third Northeast Tiki Tour went on hold last year while the Moai worked on a little thing called Ohana Luau at the Lake. But organizers promised the event would return in the Fall of 2010.
This morning an empty bottle of Folly Cove Rum floated ashore here in the virtual islands with a note inside. The Ipu Ki staff quickly opened the bottle and began reading: "Two pu-pu platters, five Mai-Tais, two Scorpion Bowls, five Navy Grog...."
At first we were wondering why someone sent us a bar tab. But then we noticed a note written on the back.
"First we want to remind everyone," it began, "that Fall of 2010 begins on September 22nd and ends on December 21st."
Good to know.
"Like a phoenix rising from the broken glass of countless bottles of rum in dumpsters behind Polynesian bars in New England," it continued, "the Northeast Tiki Tour is back for another wacky archeological hunt. We're going back to basics this year: one bus, fun people, good times."
Sounds good!
"So mark your calendar.... Kick-off party on Friday, November 12th. Bus tour on Saturday, November 13th. Hangover cure breakfast on Sunday, November 14."
You heard it here first! Stay tuned here or on Facebook for updates, hotel information and more.
Keep the torches burning,
