Mahalo!
Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth and taste. JK
My name is Chuck and I am a tiki addict from Southern Indiana; about 3 hours south of Indy.
I was a member of the JayCees for almost 20 years and I've been a member of the star wars costume charity organizations, the Rebel Legion since 2005 and the 501st Legion since 2012.
I've had a "Tiki bar" since 2008 but I was told about a year ago that I didn't know what "tiki" was.
I've learned quite a bit in the last year, I think.
"Charlie Buddha" is a condition I sometimes get when I am very inebriated.
I don't know if pic dumps are welcome here but this is my happy place.
I'm currently working on an outdoor area that will have an 8-foot tall Moai by the end of the summer.

Happy place indeed! Definitely an E ticket attraction!

Welcome to the port. You are in good company.

The single most important thing about a home tiki bar is the feeling you get when you go there. It certainly looks like the kind of place I could go and be happy in! Just add Mai Tai and Exotica, and you've got all the rest going there!

Aloha and Welcome.

I love your Tiki lounge. Especially your aqua vintage cooler.

Alooooooooooha, Chuck!! Great looking setup there and excited to see someone involved with the 501st in Indiana as I'm very familiar with them. When my wife and I helped out with the Naptown Roller Girls as their merch managers many moons ago, I always looked forward to the Star Wars bouts. All that represented the 501st at those bouts were top notch and fun to talk to. Not sure if you were ever there in attendance or not, but mahalo anyways!

So how'd you find yourself on the shores of the port here, Charlie Buddha?? :D

Definitely will keep you posted on Pukapuka gatherings here in Indy if you're willing to make the 3 hour trek up.

Aloha! If you ever come up to Indy, let us know! My husband and I are joining the Pukapuka. I'm sure we could host you if ever you make the trip up. Love your tiki bar. Apparently there's a lot of debate on what "tiki" is. But I like your tiki bar and it only matters what you think anyway!

Aloha and welcome, Charlie Buddha!

Your home tiki oasis looks great. I don't know of any tiki bars in your area, so it's nice that you've constructed your own. Reach out to the Pukapuka chapter if you're up in the Indy area

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I was wandering teh Interwebs searching for all things Tiki when I stumbled upon this place.
I couldn't afford a real WITCO bar so I carved my own.
I plan to get up to Indy soon to check out the Strange Bird and the Inferno Room
My IG handle is also Charlie Buddha.

I just got some new furniture for the bar and moved the old stuff out to the new deck.

Aloha and welcome Charlie Buddah! Cool set up you have there at home! Welcome and hoping to meet you if you make it up to Indy - there's a thriving tiki community here and a local chapter of great people.

The outdoor seating area is done! I've replaced the green rope with 1" Manila.
